Job title: Sr. Cognos 8 Server Administration Data Modeler
Duration: 3-6 Months +
Rate: $DOE/Hr on C2C
Location: Deerfield, IL (Must be Local) 

Job Description:

-          Strong experience 5 years+ in developing Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Systems, Processes, and Operations.

-          Experience architecting/designing large, complex integrated solutions to include Data Warehouse applications and purchased packages.

-          Strong knowledge of ETL Design, Data Modeling, parallel database design, data governance, and data quality management is required.

-          Strong experience supporting Sales and Marketing reporting and analytics solutions.

-          Strong experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry a plus

-          Experience utilizing and interpreting data from third party vendors such as IMS Health and Wolters Kluwer a plus.

-          Strong experience utilizing IBM Cognos 8 Business Intelligence Suite

-          Strong knowledge of relational database systems like Oracle , SQL Server, Sybase, and Relational Database Design required.

-          Clear understanding of the entire project life cycle including Analysis, Design and Development.

-          Experience creating high-level technical specifications for use by resources and for knowledge transfer

-          Experience with validated applications a plus.

-          Innovative, self-motivated, delivery focused and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills with peers and users.

-          Able to work individually and across globally diversified virtual technology teams.

-          Strong interpersonal, client service, oral and written communications, organizational, and task management skills.

-          Ability to work effectively with clients, and management and its staff members.
