Job Title: Sr SQL Developer with strong ASP.Net Experience

SQL, Microsoft SQL SERVER, ASP.NET, Microsoft PROJECT
Rate: 50/Hr on corp to corp
Location: New York, NY
6 month + contract
RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidate will serve as a senior developer and offshore team lead for a Windows-based performance attribution and analytics system.
Development responsibilities include
1.Enhancements and support of an intranet web interface
2.SQL-Server routines for calculations and reporting, as well as transforming, loading and extracting data.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
1. Independent interaction with business users to understand requirements
2. Collaboration with other onshore developers
3. Leading teams of 2-3 offshore developers on specific projects
4. Application and production support.
BUSINESS SKILLS
• Basic knowledge of the investment management industry
• Ability to understand algorithms for performance and attribution calculations
• Knowledge of investment performance systems is a strong plus.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• Excellent oral and written skills are required.
• Candidate should be able to effectively communicate with offshore, document specifications and conduct analysis and review sessions with other team members.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
• 5+ years experience with Microsoft SQL server, SQL client and related tools, ASP and .NET technologies
• Familiarity with MS Project, Visio and other MS Office products
• Experience with C/C++ and Crystal Reports is a plus.
