This is Embedded Software developement.
Our client located in Danvers, MA is in need of a Software Developer for a 3 month contract with the possibility of extension. The Software Engineer will be responsible for software development (i.e. prototyping, requirements, design, implementation and unit / integration testing) for different life-support devices.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for software development (i.e. prototyping, requirements, design, implementation and unit / integration testing) for different life-support devices.
Required Skills:
- 3 + years experience in software engineering development.
- Experience with embedded software development (will be about 80% of their task), specifically on QNX.
- Strong background in algorithm development.
- Experience with C, C++, and C# programming.
- Experience with multi –threaded applications.
- Experience in developing .NET windows applications (20%).
- Experience in Real-Time operating systems.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with medical device algorithms.
- Experience with safety-critical or medical products.
