My client is looking for Senior JavaScript SW Engineer San Jose, CA. This is a 6+ month's contract Position. The hourly rate is DOE.

 

Job Description: Looking for SENIOR contractor who is experienced with building complex and dynamic web user interfaces that are aesthetic, elegant and easy to maintain. Contractor will be working on high-end JavaScript framework. A combination of strong experience with JavaScript (at a GURU Level) and a strong object oriented and software engineering background in desktop and/or server side user facing development is the key to this position. The perfect candidate will have real, recent and advanced focus on JavaScript development.

Requirement:
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience with front end web development using JavaScript. HTML, CSS or AJAX experience would be a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional software experience with desktop and/or server side development, preferably both (Objective-C, Ruby, Java ... etc)
- Strong object oriented background a must
- Experience developing reusable APIs
- Strong technical leadership in JavaScript as a language outside of existing libraries
- Strive to use web standards to build solutions using semantic markup and CSS
- Understanding of all major browsers and the special coding required for all various quirks
- Aware of the interactions between JavaScript and HTML & CSS, and can dynamically create, modify, and style elements on a page with ease
