The Application Programmer III Designs, Codes, Tests, Debugs, and Maintains Applications, Scripts, or Reports using various technologies across various platforms as appropriate.
o Code and maintain all levels of applications and web delivered reports interfacing with multiple applications
o Creates Functional and Technical Specifications for junior level technicians to create new applications, and update existing applications.
o Provides consulting on both selection and utilization of development tools.
o Knowledge of coding standards
o Utilize version management utilities such as PVCS to maintain code.
o Able to locate and interpret information and to identify alternatives, trade-offs and rationale for the selection of tools.
o Has the ability to write/modify complex programs that include data access and manipulation.
o Writes programs for major application enhancements.
o Provides input and support on tool-kit enhancements or changes.
o Strong understanding of how to code multi-tiered applications
o Strong understanding of how to code multi-threaded applications
o Unit Test, Regression Test, and QA Test applications prior to user QA Testing.
o Manages and coordinates test activities for assigned applications
o Is aware of quality control requirements
o Consults on various aspects of testing
o Writes complex test scripts for use by other technicians
o Is familiar with and able to identify multiple, complex test environments Writes and participates in execution of technical test plans
o Has an understanding in testing for cross functional applications
o Accurately documents performance/capacity components
o Develops and implements solutions to correct complex issues
Skills
.NET; Oracle; Project Lead Exp.
Provide technical support and coaching to team members
Strong command of English Language
