• Strong Knowledge of WCF - Web Services. (Bindings, Transport
mechanisms)
• Ability to write SQL queries (Both SQL server as well as
Oracle) – primary being sql server.
• Strong database design skills for designing tables & schema
using Sql Server 2008.
• Ability to extract data out of oracle datawarehouse using
sql & export them in to Excel and perform analysis on the data and
represent the data using several charts (pare to chart, standard
deviation chart, normal distribution chart) – strong knowledge in
Excel formulae and ability to write SQL statements.
• Strong knowledge in WCF – the entire framework here uses WCF.
• Very good problem solving skills (many projects are not
straight forward, they need lot of analysis, discussion with people to
understand the requirement and hence need good problem solving
skills).
• Ability to write Software Architecture Document & Detailed
Design documents.
• Good communication skills – because most of the requirement
/ design has to be further understood by discussing with teams in NJ
through meetings, conference calls & visits.
• Individual contributor – many projects here have single
developers, just one person works on it, so someone who can handle all
aspects of the project by themselves, instead of looking for a
team/other person to get direction.
• Knowledge of tools like – Fiddler, Fire bug, Http Watch,
Debugging & Tracing in .Net, Sql Profiler, Toad & other related tools.
