Need: QA Analyst with Mobile Testing exp for NJ Position

Title:                QA Analyst

Duration:          30 Months

Location:         NJ or GA (But most probably for NJ)

Interview:        Phone and F2F

 

Only GC, US Citizens or EAD will be considered

 

This position is for an experienced Quality Assurance team member with 5-10+ years work experience including 3+ years with regards to mobile handset applications. The qualifications for this position include the following:

- Experienced in helping assess and test mobile handset applications focusing upon functional operation and usability.
- In terms of mobile handset experience, the person should be familiar with such platforms as Android, Windows Mobile, RIM and or BREW; have tested mobile applications such as music, ringback tones, email, games or video; and have upgraded devices with new firmware along with reviewing device logs from a trouble-shooting perspective.
- The individual should be used to working within an Agile type environment with respect to small teams, projects of 1-3 month duration, working closely with development, business analysts, other testers and infrastructure teams regarding product deployment.
- The individual should be a self-starter, have strong communication skills, be a team player and have a high degree of follow through regarding completing their assignments.
- In working within a QA team, the individual should be familiar with creating and reviewing test plans, defect management and executing test cases.
- Having experience with test tools (Quality Center, QTP, Countdown and or LoadRunner), protocols (TCP, HTTP and HTTPS), database concepts, cloud computing, and programming languages (Unix, SQL and either C++, Java or XML) is a plus.
- BS and or MS degree in a relevant technical field such as CS, EE or MIS.
