Job Title: Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: $50-55/Hr
Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a software quality/product assurance engineering-related occupation-related occupation.
· Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance methodologies, Software Development Process (requirements, design, implementation, review, Testing), Software Revision Control and Build environment, and release management and packaged releases.
· Creating and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts using Defect Management Tool.
· Creating test bed and test data.
· Writing defect reports, regressing defect corrections, and enter requests for change to improve the usability of the product.
· Conducting black box, regression, functional and ad hoc testing on products.
· Execution of automated and manual tests of Client/Server and web-based applications including Functional, Regression, System Integration testing.
· Defect Life Cycle and Defect Management Tools (Test Director, QC)
· Running automation test scripts using automation tools (QTP).
· Conducting root cause analysis of identified defects.
· Testing applications developed with technologies including C#, ASP.NET, HTML, DHTML, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, and XML.
· Database knowledge in MS SQL Server 2000/2005, scripting and SQL Programming.
