Position- Data Warehouse Analyst

Location- FL

Duration-3-6 Months

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

•  Knowledge of Cognos 8 Business Intelligence products including Framework Manager, Query Studio, Report Studio,

    Analysis Studio and Cognos 7 Impromptu, or equivalent Business Intelligence tools.

•   Strong SQL query skills.

•   Strong data analysis and report writing skills.

•   Relational and Star Schema / Dimensional database modeling and design skills.

•   Data warehouse experience

•   4 years experience in substitution of degree would include:

o   Data Warehouse projects from design through production support.

o   SQL Development and Report Writing experience.

o   SQL Server 2000 / 2005, DB2, Oracle or a comparable relational database.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Insurance related information delivery experience.

•    Property & Casualty insurance experience.

•    2 years experience with Cognos Business Intelligence Reporting and OLAP tools.

•    Experience with Star Schemas and Dimensional Modeling.

•    Cognos Administration knowledge and skills
