MANDATORY EXPERIENCE

1. Minimum eight (8) years experience in administering and supporting IT systems.
2. Minimum four (4) years experience in installing, configuring, performance tuning and troubleshooting Fiber Channel Storage Area Networks including IBM/Brocade SAN Directors and switches.
3. Minimum two (2) years experience implementing, administering and supporting IBM DS8300, DS4700 and XIV storage systems.

ASSOCIATED SKILL SETS
Candidates must also have three (3) of the preferred skilled sets listed below. Accordingly, candidates not meeting the supporting experiential specifications below will not be considered for the position.
1. One (1) or more of the following certifications:
• IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert - System Storage
• IBM Certified Specialist - XIV Storage System Technical Solutions
• IBM Certified Specialist - Open Systems Storage Solutions
• IBM Certified Specialist - High-End Disk for Open Systems
• IBM Certified Specialist - Storage Networking Solutions
2. Experience with SLES version 10 or higher configuration and administration.
3. Experience with RHEL version 4 or higher configuration and administration
4. Experience with VMWARE ESX version 3.5 or higher configuration and administration
5. Experience with AIX version 5 or higher configuration and administration
6. Experience with Windows Server 2003 or higher configuration and administration.
7. Experience with EMC Networker backup products.
8. Experience with StorageTek or IBM LTO4 tape drives.
