Duration: 2+ months (Possible extension up to 10 months for the right candidate)
Description:
Company will execute a funded plan/analyze phase (no detailed design yet) for a 1000-user Voice release on the new Microsoft Lync Server (OCS next version). Company is launching a new office in the Northeast and will require somebody to be on-site in Atlanta for the plan/analyze and to deliver a binding estimate for the remainder of the implementation (Design through deploy/stabilize). The scope of this project is to envision, plan, and estimate effort/price for the subsequent implementation work. Will need to work on own direction with the client to fact-find, architect, get shared-vision, and work on internal approvals to secure a WO at the end of the 8 week period. Will be positioned as the delivery lead for the implementation work after the plan/analyze phase. STRONLY prefer GA as this will be a long-term relationship of over 1 year.
Skills Required:
OCS R2, Voice (PBX replace, integration with Avaya and/or Cisco SIP Trunks, Mediation services and Media Gateways, Live Meeting client deploys, OCS Communicator client deploys, interpret QoS markings for voice quality, and ability to plan/analyze a single-site 1000-user deploy of Microsoft for full voice capability). Eventually will be responsible for a North American deploy of same technology stack across 60,000 users.
