Oracle Business Intelligence
· Masters and/or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related technical discipline.
· 2-4 years of project experience configuring Oracle Business Intelligence (O.B.I.E.E.), formerly called Seibel Analytics v7.7 or above required
· At least 2 full Oracle Business Intelligence implementations using v7.7 or higher
· Experience with O.B.I.E.E:
o Importing Tables and Views from the Database to Physical layer of Metadata repository.
o Creating connection pools, physical tables, schema folders and catalog folders in the physical layer of the repository.
o Building the 3 layers of the repository
§ Physical Layer (connecting Data sources & import schema),
§ Business Model & Mapping Layer (create Logical tables & data source mapping)
§ Presentation layer (create presentation catalogs), create presentation folders, test and validate the model.
o Creating and modifying Metadata repository (RPD) based on data availability and reporting requirements by using OBIEE Server Admin tool.
o Implementing security through approved methodologies and assigning appropriate privileges to users and groups.
o Using the available types of variables.
o Testing and Validation of the Repository.
o Administering security privileges and permissions for each subject area and dashboards according to customer requirements.
o Configuring, scheduling and publishing iBots to deliver analytics content based.
o Maintaining multiple environments (Development, Test, Products)
o Merging and migrating OBIEE repository content and web catalogs in development, testing and production environment.
· Expertise with Informatica Power Center 7.X and higher.
o At least two years of experience creating complex custom mappings to satisfy new reporting requirements.
o Experience tuning mappings, sessions and workflows.
o Experience with Informatica's best practices for object and folder maintenance and migration.
o Experience managing and working within multiple instances of Informatica (i.e. Development, Test and Production).
