Senior Sharepoint Developer

Length: 6+ Months
EXPERIENCE: 8+ years of overall IT experience with 4+ years of SharePoint Server
REQUIRED SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· 3+ projects through the full system Support lifecycles to a Production environment, including deployment of new applications or major upgrades to existing applications.
· 5+ years of experience on Windows Server environment (Windows 2000 and above)
· 2+ years of operational experience with web servers, preferably IIS
· 4+ years experience with SQL databases (preferably SQL Server)
· Proven experience supporting & troubleshooting complex systems
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Proven ability to work with customers to prioritize issues & communicate status
· Self-starter, capable of seeing projects/fixes through to completion
· Ability to multi-task and work effectively across multiple deliverables
· Demonstrated experience with change management and configuration policies
· Experience in working with vendors to troubleshoot issues and devise solutions
· Work with other IT organizations to resolve issues, communicate outages, etc
· Responsible for product installs, upgrades, patches, configurations using change control procedures
· Ability to design, implement, debug and execute solutions that meets specifications
· Effective analytical, business analysis and problem solving skills
· Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed
· Required SharePoint Experience
o 4+ years experience as a SharePoint professional
o Have a working (architect) knowledge of MOSS 2007 and SharePoint Server 2010 platforms
o MCTS Certification preferred in either MOSS or WSS
o Familiarity preferred with Quest recovery tools for SharePoint and Nintex Workflow
o Experience using Powershell for SharePoint administration
o Configuring and supporting BDC / BCS connections
· Supporting Technologies:
o Understanding of VMware and Hyper-V virtualization technologies
o Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008
o SQL Reporting Services
o Internet Information Server 6.0 / 7.0
o Active Directory
o Microsoft Office desktop application integration with SharePoint
o Windows Workflow Foundation
o Server farm design concepts
o Windows networking principles
