REK #1:

 

Client is seeking an experienced Web and SharePoint Developer to maintain and enhance our internal portal and external website. This person will be a part of team that engages in development related

activities for a suite of medium-to-high complexity SharePoint/.NET applications. This role will require take ownership of modules and all development activities related to it.

The current Internal Web Portals and External Websites have been developed using SharePoint and significant custom development in .Net technologies. As a part of Shared Services out team manages the support and development for these websites for multiple internal client organizations.

 

Responsibilities

• Gain in depth knowledge of the technologies used for development of the portals/websites..
• When an issue is escalated to the development team, participate in the troubleshooting exercise and resolve issues as needed.
• Engage in development activities related to the planned releases for the internal portal and external websites as prioritized by the clients.
• Adhere to technical documentation and coding standards while engaging in any of the support and development activities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, e.g., Technical Manual, Run Book etc.

 

Qualifications and Experience

Technical Skills Required:

• Web Development Experience
• Deep .Net knowledge and development experience
• SharePoint knowledge and development experience.
• Knowledge of SharePoint workflows, and .Net WF
• Strong SQL Server knowledge (SQL writing, SSIS, etc)
• Demonstrated abilities with web scripting languages, setting up testing environments, creating test suites, and working with databases.

 

Non Technical Skills/Qualities:

• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly understand verbally and textually communicated issues and instructions. Should be able to effectively respond to such requests, both written and verbally.
• Ownership and Initiative: Strong follow-through, initiative to stay with issues until they are resolved, along with discipline and tenacity to meet deadlines
• Must have ability to work independently as well as in a team. When working independently should take ownership of the tasks assigned and while in a team participate in solving technical issues and achieve objectives with the team.

 

Education and Experience Required:

• Must have undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Technology or related field.
• At least 7 years of hands on experience in Web development
• At least 5 years of hands on experience in Microsoft Web Technologies
• At least 3 years of hands on experience in Microsoft SharePoint.
• Excellent working knowledge of SharePoint workflows.
• Experience and good working knowledge related to Microsoft SQL Server (SQL, SSIS, etc.)
• Must also have satisfactory Securities Industry and Mutual Fund working knowledge.
• Experience in the mutual fund distribution industry is a significant plus.

Client is seeking an experienced Web and SharePoint Developer to support, maintain and enhance our internal portal and external website. This person will be a part of team that engages in support activities and new development for a suite of medium-to-high complexity SharePoint/.NET applications. This role will respond to production support requests, escalating unresolved issues as needed to proper personnel and participate in development activities as required.

The current Internal Web Portals and External Websites have been developed using SharePoint and significant custom development in .Net technologies. As a part of Shared Services out team manages the support and development for these websites for multiple internal client organizations.

 

Responsibilities

• Gain in depth knowledge of the technologies used for development of the portals/websites.
• Ensure the day to day operation updates, and performance of the websites.
• Trouble-shoot and resolving issues with the portals and web sites as a priority.
• Engage in development activities for fixing problems/bugs as and when needed.
• Participate in development related to enhancements as required by our internal clients.
• Adhere to technical documentation and coding standards while engaging in any of the support and development activities.
• Develop & maintain technical documentation, e.g. Application Run Book, Troubleshooting KB
