Must-have skills

•Very strong web application development experience (any platform)

•Strong JavaScript development experience

•XML, JSON, AJAX, RESTful concepts

•Data modeling, extract, transformation, and loading concepts – must be able to write SQL queries

•Unit and integration test case development

•High tolerance for ambiguity and dynamic/agile development

 

 

Nice-to-Have skills

•Service-Now.com application development experience

•OOA/OOD/OOP skills

•Web Service technologies like WSDL/WADL/SOAP

•EAM/Active Directory/SSO security integrations

•Apache Tomcat web application development

•Expert in SQL database tuning

•HTTP protocol internals, request tracing/debugging

 

 

Datastage Architect:

Location: Delaware

Duration: Long term

 

Skills:

 

Sound     understanding of DS lifecycle and solution architecture required

Experience     in defining solution architecture standards and best practices in DS environment     required

Extensive     requirements analysis, source system analysis and data analysis experience     in data warehouse projects required

Data     modelling experience required

ETL and     reporting architecture definition and design experience required

Experience     with DS projects required

Minimum 8     years of experience in data warehouse projects required

BFSI     experience preferred

Experience     of working in onsite offshore model preferred

Excellent     communication skills required

 

 

Responsibilities:

Define     architecture standards and best practices

Define     solution road map and approach

Conduct     requirements analysis and data analysis

Do data     modelling based on industry model standards and prepare source to target     data mapping

Preparation     and review of DS architecture and high level design

Guide a team     of technical leads, designers and developers who will participate in     design and analysis activities

Review code     and specs prepared by team

Support     development, testing and deployment activities from architect standpoint
