Job Roles / Responsibilities:     

Business Analyst for IT solution delivery project serving the Genetics Human Biological Sample Management group.

 

Expectations:

·         Produce and manage business requirements in formats including slide decks for communications, requirements index, use cases, data models, process models, test plans and test cases

·         Excellent English and communications skills with the ability to diplomatically lead an international team in gathering requirements, assessing and deploying solutions

·         Ability to plan and effectively manage teleconferences with screen sharing as primary visual aid

·         Ability to network and work effectively in a matrixed organization across IT and science lines

 

Required Skills:

·         Must have 6+ years of Experienced Life Sciences business analyst is required with practical experience in industry standard business analysis practices, tools, and methodologies.

·         Experience developing and utilizing E-R diagrams is a requirement

·         Ability to document and evolve requirements and related documentation in a team setting with quick turnaround of deliverables and testing are key elements we are looking for.

·         Experience evaluating and deploying vendor solutions, including 1) commercial off the shelf solutions deployed internally and 2) externalized software as a service solutions that require business to business type of integration with internal proprietary services

 

Desired Skills:
* Experience working on project teams employing an Agile development methodology is a plus.

* Experience with ERStudio Business Architect and/or Data Architect is a plus..
* Experience in Life Sciences is a strong plus.
* Experience supporting Genetics or sample stores management and experiment plating strategies is a plus.
