Sr. Data Warehouse/ ETL Tester
Minneapolis, MN

Looking for a Sr. QA Analyst to help Test for Data Ware House/ETL projects.  Will serve as sole QA resource for projects assigned to them or will be on a team.  Will be working on multiple projects simultaneously.  Candidates need to be very strong in SQL and ETL testing.  They will not only be moving data but testing it before loading data into Data Warehouse (DB2).  They will also be testing the reports output by the BO tool.  Need to have experience testing BO reports.  Testing tools that they use are QC and QTP.  This team has also built it's own automation using SAS EG.  SAS experience is a plus but not required.
 
Top 3 Must Have's
 
1. Excellent SQL Skills
2. Strong Communication - interacting with BAs, PMs, and Developers
3. ETL testing experience.  Transformation logic testing/validation a must, not simply a move from source to target.

Preferred additional skills:

 Sr QA Analyst
o        The Senior QA Analyst will design, document and implement test plans for new projects, report and manage defects, verify software fixes for new and existing products, assist development with replicating and debugging problems and develop test automation solutions as needed. The Senior QA Analyst may lead a small team of QA team members.  The candidate will have strong technical testing related skills including experience testing enterprise-class system software packages.
1.        Create test plan documents
2.        Validate and formally communicate the testability of requirements and compliance to requirements of application software designs
3.        Design and develop detailed test cases for functional and regression testing
4.        Perform execution of application software testing
5.        Document, troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing; triage and root cause analysis
6.        Design and develop test automation scripts for regression testing
7.        Provide leadership to QA team assigned to a workstream including providing status and risk/issue management for the team
8.        Participate in performance and load testing
