Relevant Experience (Yrs)
5 – 8 Years

Technical/Functional Skills

Strong technical expertise in Java/Websphere architecture in windows platform. Hands on experience in handling support projects.
Good knowledge/working experience on Web Services
Experience with Batch Client Interface (BCI) interface tools, Web Services Live Call (XML), Windows Services
Ability to understand technical/functional detail of solution implemented in Java/Websphere framework
Good analytical skills to troubleshoot & fix production issues

Preferred:

Experience in ITIL & basic Support Processes
Flexibility to work in an onsite/offshore team setup
Experience with financial systems (SAP Preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities

Transition knowledge of fresh implementation from development to support  team
Coordinate sessions working closely with offshore
Identify design gaps and propose solutions
Identify training needs for the team & facilitate trainings
Create re-usable and updated process and project documents per client specification & enable smooth delivery of project
Attend and restore production issues within defined SLA
Identify & deploy fixes in production within defined SLA
Coordination with client and Business users for Support operations.
Participate in Release meetings with development and Business teams

Generic Managerial Skills

Possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
Team skills to drive knowledge transition and training associates to be subject matter experts (SMEs)
Ability to Manage Work/Transition plan for new rollouts/releases.
Use of metrics to support continual transition improvement
