.Net/C3 Programmer - Automatic Time Card (ATC) and other various systems

Complete Description: Job Requirements • Self-motivated personality initiative to improvements across legacy applications. • Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner both written and orally. • Able to interact directly with the business units, when needed, for support and requirements gathering. • Strong background in C# and object-oriented concepts. Experience with C# 3.5 and 4.0 is preferred. This includes LINQ-to-Objects, lambdas, etc. • Experience in web development, most notably ASP.NET, but going back as far as "classic" ASP for migration to modern technology. (ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET 4) • Some experience with Microsoft O/RM (object-relational mapping) technology such as Entity Framework or LINQ-to-SQL. • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server. This includes T-SQL, stored procedures, and views. Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services is helpful, as well. • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or prior versions. • Experience with Team Foundation Server 2010 or source control, in general. • Some experience with WCF and web services in general. Understanding of WSDL, SOAP, ServiceFaults, JSON, and various patterns in service-oriented architecture. Helpful Skills • Experience with ASP.NET MVC 3 or at least the MVC (model-view-controller) software pattern. • Experience using productivity tools like JetBrains ReSharper with Visual Studio. • Experience with client-side web development libraries such as jQuery and jQuery UI. • Experience with Oracle and/or DB2 databases. • Experience with Silverlight. • Experience with GIS API's (ESRI, Bing Maps, Google Maps). * ASP.NET MVC specifically: at least 6 months with version 3.0 (not 2.0). If the person did a super intense/aggressive 3 month MVC 3.0 project I suppose that would be fine (given that it is new). * Overall ASP.NET web development experience: at least 3 years, but 5 years is better. (ASP.NET MVC is distinct from other MVC practices).
