Network processor memory mapping consultant
San Jose, CA
Contract/Full Time.
Network processor (from Marvell) has 4 different external memories attached to it, they are Frame (DDR3/RLDRAM), search(DDR3/RLDRAM), statistics and TCAM.
Goal of this assignment is as following
Test each of the memories at their full speed (interface Max speed) using Micro-code as well as with Traffic.
- Able to generate different test and traffic patterns.
- Able to isolate failing address and chip/s.
- Exercise all the external memories together/Each separately, at maximum bandwidth on each of the interfaces.
Candidate should have below Skill set
- Network processor Assembly/Micro-code Knowledge is must.
- Solid C code skills.
- Memory and TCAM test algorithm/s.
- Knowledge on any Unix/Linux working environment.
