Job Title           SQA Engineer

Duties              Develop comprehensive test plans, create and maintain robust test cases, test scripts, and test data through in-depth analysis of the requirements. Execute test cases, debug and resolve issues, track and prioritize defects, and report results. Follow QA best practices, represent the QA team in cross functional meetings, and make informed QA decisions. Involvement with Agile iterative software development process - test-driven development, continuous integration testing, rapid automation to efficiently build the best industry software. Collaborate with other team members, view the big picture, and question decisions to evolve the testing process.

Think from a customer perspective, and creatively solve real user problems.

Skills               Experience testing web based client server commercial applications with a QA mindset to identify, record and troubleshoot defects effectively

Ability to understand complex requirements and write detail test cases, good test plan to test the features thoroughly. Essential hands on  troubleshooting and good problem solving skills  Proficient with any scripting language like Python, Ruby, Perl  and ability to quickly develop scripts and improve testing efficiency  Strong hands-on experience on latest Windows, Linux platforms, SQL from QA perspective Good programming skills in developing  reusable, extensible automation tests for GUI applications using Selenium, or API test harness using Java Open minded person with interest in researching new QA tools, open source technologies, prototyping solutions, and implementing it Experience with non-functional testing - load and performance testing, reliability testing and security testing is added plus Prior experience working with PKI technologies and Agile development process is a plus Good understanding of Java and latest web technologies, such as  XML, SOAP, web services, Tomcat, Apache, SAML is great plus

Education           BS or Equivalent, plus 5+ yrs. experience in relevant SQA.
