PositioN: ETL Developer

LocatioN: Raleigh, NC.

Start Date:  1/30/2012

End Date:  2/1/2013

 

Primary Skill:  ETL Architect

Proficiency Level:  Skilled (3 to 5 Years Experience)

 

Position will be involved with design, development, testing and implementation of the ETL Programs for a new reporting module for an existing Data Warehouse. Position will need to utilize SAS Data Integration Studio.

 

No. of Positions: 5

Basic Qualifications - Required Skills

3 years of analytical experience with large, complex large data warehousing and relational database management systems environments

3 years experience with SQL performing multi-table joins, outer joins, grouping by aggregate functions and complex select statements, case statements, Plan Explains, Exists and Not in/In clauses in where with subselect

2 years experience developing ETLs in multiple environments

1 year experience designing, developing, testing and implementing ETLs using SAS Data Integration Studio including SAS coding experience as used to work in Data Integration Studio

1 year experience with Sybase IQ minimally as a developer

1 year experience with any or all of the following technologies (TOAD, SQL Server Management Studio, DbVisualizer, Sybase Central)

1 year experience with Entity Relationship Diagrams and Data Models

1 year experience with source code versioning and control

 

Basic Qualifications - Soft Skills

Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and excellent interviewing skills

Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the implementation of project management methodologies

Experience with Windows and MS Office

Desired Skills

 

Demonstrated technical architecture/infrastructure knowledge and experience, including experience with multiple hardware platforms and operating systems

Familiarity with Access, Visio or ERD preparation tools

Solid working experience with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)

Experience designing, developing, testing and implementing reports with Business Objects XI R2 Web Intelligence. Business Objects XI R2 Web Intelligence requires skills with merged queries, creating report variables, formatting reports, multiple report tabs, using templates for graphs, cross tabs and tables, change a report to group into sections, understands how to use extended syntax to create variables.

 

Experience with Business Objects XI R2 or R3 as follows:

1. Info View for scheduling and organizing reports into folder

2. developing universes in Business Objects XI, and

3. implementing Security Rules using Business Objects XI Central Management Console
