Job Title:  IT Project Management (IT Manager or IT Lead)

Location - Lake forest, IL

Duration – 6+ months

Job Description:

Coordinate with the Business Teams & technology teams of customer & Wipro to define the DR Plans for the IT Infrastructure & Application services of customer locations of the region.

Establish the test objectives (RTO/ RPO) of IT services in accordance with the BCP plans of the customer.

Define policies & procedures enabling regular updation of DR plans, Vendor contacts , Wipro & Customer personnel contacts, to be used in DR test drills or in event of disaster

Gap analysis of the existing plans and provide recommendations for the any gaps

Responsible for scheduling and conducting the DR drills for the locations as signed in the contract.

Publish the DR test results with the recommendations to all the stakeholders of customer & Wipro.

Reporting disasters or potential disasters in compliance with the customer's policy

Coordinate and be the point of contact with the Third Party service providers providing Global disaster recovery services to the customer

Manage the third party contracts in terms of getting the agreed services and clearing invoices

Regular updation and reporting of DR plans of the customer

Training the customer & Wipro personnel on DR procedures and defining procedures to access the DR procedures

 

Skills & Experience:

Overall 6-8 years of experience in IT service industry with experience in IT Infrastructure management / Application Services /Data Center management

Knowledge of ITIL/ ISO 20000 processes is  must/ Certification would be preferred

Good project management and coordination skills with experience of having worked with cross functional teams or cross geography teams.

2-3 years of Project Management experience required working with large teams

Experience of handling project commercials

Good documentation skills

Good Interpersonal & Communication skills
