We have a need for a WebSphere with build manager :

Location:Orlando,FL

Duration:6 months

The person needs to have Strong experience(at least 5 years in configuration/build management role) in a support and administration role working with the IBM

WebSphere Application Server family of products ( IBM WebSphere 6.x / 7.x, MQ) along with JBoss & Tomcat. Experience in installing and configuring WAS in a clustered

environment for highly available applications Strong experience in troubleshooting, tuning and must have

worked in a 24X7 environment supporting mission critical applications.

 

 

* The resource will administer enterprise WebSphere infrastructure along with JBoss & Tomcat.

* Will also configure, engineer, and maintain WebSphere application servers, WebSphere standalone and horizontal/vertical clusters, and web servers.

* Experience with MQ Series and scripting is a big plus.

* Must understand how load balancers work and be able to configure them with web servers.

* Must also understand how the application is accessed from the URL.

* Experience with continuous integration tools such as Hudson, Cruise Control & AHP.

* Should be able to write basic scripts, monitoring tools such as Wily or Appdynamics.

* Installation, configuration and maintenance of the WebSphere suite.

* Participate as a key part of a team to accomplish automation of build using ANT & Maven scripts.

* A strong ability to work as a contributing team member is a must.

* Respond to monitoring alerts to quickly identify trouble source and implement resolution to avoid or reduce duration of an outage.

* Provide support and trouble-shooting to resolve issues impacting application operations.

* Provide solutions to automate processes or functions to improve business operations.

* Strong knowledge of Unix, Linux and scripting.

* Ability to support the env's on a 24/7 basis with rotational On call.

* Willingness to learn new technologies would be a plus.

* Strong analytical skills, Strong Trouble Shooting skills, organized and detail-oriented; self-directed excellent teamwork ability.

* Any experience with Java/J2EE technologies is a plus.
