Position Title: UI Developer

Location: Bethlehem, PA

 

 

Position Overview

Software Products development environment. Individual will work on Web application screens design, cross-browser compatibility, test and deploy code in a Java environment. 

 

Technical Skills

Languages(s): HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, and others
Software(s): Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and others
Operating System(s): Windows, Macintosh
Browser(s): Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and others
Database(s): Oracle 10g
Web Servers: MS IIS

 

Job Role

 

·         Creates and designs application pages/screens prototypes using HTML, CSS 3.0

·         Must be able to create JavaScript code

·         Ability to create graphical representations and user icons with Photoshop and Dreamweaver

·         Web pages should be accessible and functional for Cross-browser compatibility through Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome browsers and will reside on IIS web servers

·         Web pages should be accessible and functional for use by all levels of external clients on all types of systems, including older personal computers and Macintosh computers.

 

Required Experience

·         A minimum of five years of experience in web design across multiple browsers

·         Three years of experience in JavaScript

·         Three years of experience with Web Applications UI design

·         Five years of Photoshop and Dreamweaver experience

·         Demonstrated knowledge of cross-browser and platform issues

·         Ability to work as a member of a team with a customer-oriented mindset
