Position: OBIEE/OBIA Developer

Location: Addison, IL

Duration: 6+Months

 

Note: In addition to OBIEE skills, the person should have OBIA experience (including Informatica and DAC). Also this person should have some understanding on EBS schema and should be able to visualize the data flow from EBS to OBAW.

 

Description:

A skilled resource needed to develop and support technologies for the Oracle R12 OBIEE implementation.

The role requires a strong understanding of the Oracle Reporting Solution OBIEE+,  and knowledge of developing reports using Answers, pre packaged Oracle BI Apps ( such as Supply Chain Analytics, Order Management Analytics, Financial Analytics, Procurement and Spent Analytics),  Reports and Dash Boards, BI publisher Reports.

Good understanding of Oracle ERP modules such as Financials, WMS, ASCP, Demantra, Order Management, etc. is definitely a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

·5+ years of direct work experience or 3+ years of direct work experience with Masters in information technology

·3+ years with Business Intelligence applications such as Oracle OBIEE+, Hyperion Essbase Analytics on Oracle EPM suite.

·3+ years of hands-on report and dash board opment experience with Oracle OBIEE+, PL/SQL, stored procedures, TOAD (or similar tools used for database related development

·Interprets requirements data, maps current and future state business processes to the packaged application(s) being implemented, and develops plans to address functional gaps between the packaged application and the redesigned processes by building custom schema, ETL mappings, answer reports and dash boards in OBIEE+.

·Solid understanding of ETL tools (Informatica), Oracle pre-built BI Apps, experience in building ETL maps, custom schema, custom reports and custom dash boards on OBIEE platform.

·Guides other BI team members in Oracle OBIEE applications and standards for interfaces and bolt-on components

·Manages internal client expectations and balances the needs of the company and the client to ensure satisfaction for both

·Good understanding of Linux operating systems

·Demonstrated experience designing, developing, implementing, and managing Business Intelligence reporting and related data warehouse solutions

·Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

·Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation
