Executive Business Intelligence – Business Analyst
– Business Intelligence team seeks an outstanding, data-savvy Business Analyst to deliver key reporting initiatives for the Sales and Customers For Life departments.
The data analyst will leverage enterprise data to build high-quality reports and dashboards for senior management. This position requires a very curious and creative approach, attention to detail, and a superior acumen towards enhancing the value of data/metrics to satisfy business priorities. This person will need to be able to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced team-driven environment, and communicate well with business and technical personnel.
Responsibilities
· Become an expert in understanding sales- and customer success-related data and delivering strategic reports and dashboards.
· Partner in the design and management of the executive reporting framework for CSG.
· Perform in-depth data analysis, validation and inspection of source and derived data.
· Work cross-functionally to establish reporting & decision-making standards.
· Ensure products are accurate, conformed and repeatable.
· Ability to work independently as well as with larger team.
· Work closely with managers, development teams, quality assurance and other teams to manage work appropriately and efficiently.
· Partner with IT organization to formalize key metrics, build required integrations and develop reporting structures.
| Required Skills/Experience · Bachelors Degree with 5+ years full-time work experience in information management, business intelligence, data analysis or related discipline. · Strong data presentation skills and understanding of how to develop logical data navigation paths. · Extremely adept at integrating disparate information, analyzing and interpreting data. · Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts and reporting/analytical environments and systems. · Proficient with Oracle databases for data analysis and extraction. · Creativity in problem-solving and developing actionable recommendations. · Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas with clarity and conciseness to technical and non-technical audiences. · Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand. · Ability to function independently and as part of a team under aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment, convey a strong professional image, exhibit interest and positive attitude toward all assigned work, and strive for continued improvement. Desired Skills/Experience · Experience with CRM data and related business processes (sales and customer support). · Proficiency with TOAD for Oracle and Tableau. · Experience with the salesforce.com service (esp. reporting and dashboarding) and the force.com platform and related technologies. · Experience with Business Objects desired. |
