Relevant Experience (Yrs) 5+ Yrs in IT and 3+ Years of experience in Datastage Necessary Skills ·        Good understanding of Datastage Designer and Director â€" Strong knowledge of Datastage fundamentals like ‘Server/Parallel Job’, ‘Sequence’ etc.  ·        Experience working in DataStage Designer and Director to develop and monitor the  Jobs and Sequences.  ·        Experience with both the edition of Datastage (server and parallel).  ·        Extensively worked in Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading from Source to Target System using Datastage  ·        Understanding of the concept of Data Marts  ·        In-depth knowledge of different stages of Datastage like transformer, lookup, joiner etc.  ·        Good knowledge of SQL / PL SQL and Netezza compatible SQL  ·        Good knowledge of Data Warehousing fundamentals and the ability to analyze a data modelâ€" should have good understanding of facts and dimension tables and different data models.  ·        Should have thorough knowledge of unix shell scripting and different commands in unix.  ·        Should have good knowledge of Autosys scheduler. Running unix script thorough autosys.  ·        Good to have basic knowledge of perl scripting.  ·        Need to have good customer facing skill and strong communication skills (including English conversation skills), demonstrate excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. Desired Skills ·        Datastage v8.x,  Oracle SQL, Netezza, Unix
