Position: Teradata Developer

Duration: 4 months

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Rate: $47/hr

 

Required Skills:

Position Description:

·         Participate in end to end Software transformation and implementation Life Cycle project.

·         Data warehouse concepts and techniques. Familiar with creation or modification of tables, indexes, users, permissions, stored procedures, macros.

·         Teradata concepts, architecture.

·         Understand, design and write complex SQL transformations.

·         Strong in SQL, UNIX, Data Warehouse Modeling and Teradata Utilities.

·         Create and monitor automation scripts to perform extracts/loads.

·         Ensure data accuracy across source and destination platforms.

·         Be able to analyze Sybase SQL and modify it to Teradata.

Position Requirements:

·         Use Teradata utilities fastload, multiload, tpump to load data.

·         Write BTEQ scripts to transform data.

·         Write, test and implement Teradata load routines, Bteq scripts, DML and DDL.

·         Construct Korn shell driver routines (write, test and implement UNIX scripts).

·         Write views based on user and/or reporting requirements.

·         Data quality checks and automation.

·         Software: Teradata, UNIX environment.

·         Optional Software: Sybase ASE/IQ.
