Position: Lead ETL Designer/Developer in SSIS

Duration: 3 month CTH or Straight Contract for 6 months

Location: BOSTON , MA

Description:

Lead ETL Designer/Developer in SSIS:
Experience in designing an end to end Data Warehouse solution using SSIS.
Thorough understanding of Data Warehousing implementations.
Experienced with design of ETL process from data extraction to loading to production.
Be able to come up with design to build processes around data loading in SQL Server Data Warehouse.
Extensive experience in building Data Warehouse SSIS ETL packages using SQL Server 2008.
* Experience with Pragmatic Works Task Factory is a plus.
Implemented Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) type 2 to maintain Historical Data.
Designed Error Handling around Dimensions and Facts for data loading in Data Warehouse.
Used T-SQL queries and designed SSIS packages to load the data into warehouse.
Designing SSIS Packages to perform Data profiling, Data Cleansing, and Data Transformation.
Experience using SQL Profiler, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
Experience in documentation of packages.
