DIRECT CLIENT:

Resource Role: Java Developer

Location: Saint Louis, MO 631010

Duration: 12 Months

Start Date: ASAP 

Travel: 0%

 

Looking for Green Card and US Citizens Only. 

 

Responsibilities:

1. Actively participate in the requirements gathering phase. 

2. Document the design, alternate solutions, pros and cons of different solutions 

3. Perform design reviews of other team members 

4. Contributes to the design of repository layer, services layer components. 

5. Identify any gaps in requirements and design. 

6. Develop unit test cases as part of the development; identify test data for unit test cases. 

7. Develop (code) repository layer, services layer, components, and unit test the same. 

8. Review code of other team members 

9. Integrate the code developed with upstream and downstream systems and troubleshoot issues. 

10. Create Requirement Traceability matrix for the design, development and unit testing 

11. Conduct reviews of the design, development artifacts to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks. 

12. Actively involved in the configuration management Plan to ensure the quality of the deliverables. 

13. Escalates risks to stakeholders 

14. Plans and assigns work to team members 

15. Creates status report for module and reports to the project manager 

16. Takes corrective actions on tasks not going according to plan 

17. Reviews and provided feedback on performance of team members 

 

Technical Skills Required:

1. Strong Programming Skills in designing and implementation of multi-tier applications using Java, Hibernate/JPA, J2EE, JDBC, JSP, JSTL, EJB, JAXB. 

2. Experience in developing Web Services using - SOAP, WSDL and developing DTDs, XSD schemas for XML (parsing, processing, and design).

 

Education:

Bachelors degree Electrical & Computer Engineering
