Candidate must have performed DataPower Administrative function and development previously. He/She will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and growing current IBM DataPower X150 Service Bus environment which includes installation, configuration and administration of IBM DataPower XI50. Daily responsibilities will entail the following: • Ensuring network service is available to customers which includes: backup and recovery system; hardware/software maintenance; installation/upgrade, monitoring, testing; troubleshooting and repair; • Involved in solution architecture of IBM DataPower X150 • Developing complex designs, leads, abstract concepts, and strategies. • Working with different clients and service providers across the enterprise • Working with enterprise security and infrastructure teams in determining the integration design patterns • Providing front line support for DataPower related problems by being involved in troubleshooting – identifying root cause and recommending appropriate solutions • Providing support to development teams in testing and implementation of various applications • Maintaining user accounts and data files • Monitoring system configuration to ensure data integrity • Conducting informal training and educational sessions • Maintaining documentation • Configure Ethernet interfaces and static routes with the information provided by the network team • Administering IBM WebSphere DataPower using various management interfaces, such as command-line interface (CLI), Web GUI, SOMA • Updating the DataPower firmware using CLI • Configure Application domains • Knowledge in message transformation and routing with advanced level of experience in XSLT • Knowledge in last mile security implementations • Datapower device initial configuration • Knowledge in configuring and integrating Datapower and WebSphere Registry and Repository (WSRR) products • Automate DataPower deployments
