.Net Technical Lead Architect

Position Title: .Net Technical Lead Architect 

Location: Tampa, FL

Duration: 6-12 Months

 

Responsibilities:

•Responsible for ensuring business critical production system is stable and performing well.

•Participates in system capacity analysis and recommends and coordinates software and infrastructure improvements to meet demand

•Reviews current system design and issues and implements required continuous improvements.

•Performance tuning of production system

•Leads performance testing efforts for all projects/releases. 

•Leads Technology / Infrastructure related projects, including hardware refreshes, new software implementation, technology audits, etc.

•Responsible for reviewing incoming changes and participating in high level design sessions.

•Participate in creation and review of system technical design specs for projects/releases.

•Provide technical direction, support and mentorship to development team. Hands on development as necessary.

•Primary liaison to interface with the enterprise architecture team. 

•Create and maintain Architecture / Technology Roadmap and system documentation. 

Skills Requirements

•10+ years of experience in Software Development / Technology

•3+ years of experience working as an Architect

•ASP.Net, C#, VB.Net, PL/SQL, Message Queues, Windows Services, Web Services, WCF, Relational Databases. Sybase is a nice to have.

•Familiar with SDLC.

•Experience creating architectural and technical design specs

•Experience with System / Performance Monitoring tools such as Tivoli, Topaz, Wily, etc.

•Solid knowledge of Load Balancing 

•Solid knowledge of infrastructure design, including capacity analysis, performance tuning and scalability

•Familiarity with Source Version control tools such as Subversion.
