•Develop and maintain a complete understanding of the current GeekSquad Application code base including code structure, design patterns, and environment details
•Help analyze features requested by the business to assess technical feasibility of implementation and any technical hurdles that exist
•Work with Solution Architect and Application Architect to translate high-level designs into implementation approaches appropriate to the Geek Squad App that meet business and IT requirements
•Work with the Application Architect to help establish and enforce good development policies, processes and procedures that support high-quality deliveries in an agile environment with tight deadlines
•Work with the Geek Squad App PM to coordinate development and delivery with off shore partners to ensure strong collaboration to meet deadlines
•Work with the Application Architect to help decompose requested features into work packages for assignment to developers on the team
•Act as a strong voice in iteration planning, code reviews, and retrospectives with a goal of improving team performance and quality
•Design, develop, unit test, and deliver features for each release
•Assist team members with the design, code, unit test and delivery of their assigned features
•Maintain watch over and address accumulating technical debt appropriately
