Job Description:
Essential Functions: Project Manager/Scrum Master (Healthcare LTC Preferably) •Direct responsibility for large scale Project and Program execution • Manage healthcare IT projects on iSeries RPG and Microsoft .Net platform •Manage EHR/EMR (Electronic Health Records/Electronic Medical Record) implementation projects (Electronic Interface Standards HL7, NCPDP 10.3/10.6 & ADT) •Plan and lead initiative rollout and adoption support. Develop and successfully execute on pilot, training, communication and implementation of new systems and processes. •Plan and lead integration of new business as the organization grows, and expands into new markets, ensuring smooth transition of people, processes and technology. •Large scale programs are defined as high cost, high complexity and/or high risk. •Develop project plans, determine time frame, funding needs, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of resources to various phases of project •Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel •Lead in a matrix, geographically dispersed organization • Maintain management-level dashboard of project status, resources, and budget metrics. • Apply Agile software development methodology, as newly acquired skill through both Scrum/Agile training and practical application, with some limited exposure to Waterfall. •Participates in new software development projects as well as upgrades to existing software. •Schedules and manages meetings and work sessions with all levels of a project team, including management and remote team members. Minimum Qualifications: • Computer Science or Business 4 year degree (or related degree) •Minimum Experience: 10 years of relevant work experience •Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills •Possess strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation and facilitation. • Demonstrated proficiency in translating high level requirements into functional specifications. • Project experience related to Pharmacy applications, preferably Long Term Care. •Must possess strong analytical and technical skills.
