We are looking for:

Oracle DBA

$55/hr

 

•  Good knowledge on Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g and Oracle 11gR1 and R2
•  Experience in setting up and managing Oracle Grid Control and Agents
•  Understanding of Oracle internals
•  Good knowledge in cloning databases using RMAN duplicate and other methods
•  Expertise in troubleshooting and fixing RMAN backup issues, data corruption and recovery scenarios
•  Expertise in performance tuning including instance tuning and sql tuning.
•  Expert level knowledge about performance model and tools, techniques and methods available for tuning including but not limited to ASH, AWR, ADDM.
•  Expert level knowledge about the query optimizer, statistics, histograms, etc
•  Generate and analyze 10046 and 10053 traces, system state dumps, etc
•  Good experience in exp/imp, expdp/impdp and transportable tablespaces
•  Must have performed database upgrades including upgrades to Oracle 11Gr2
•  Exposure to Cross platform database migration
•  Excellent knowledge of UNIX - AIX, Solaris, Linux
•  Expertise in UNIX tools for troubleshooting including but not limited to sar, iostat, vmstat, prstat etc
•  Good understanding and experience in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Oracle Clusterware
