Skills Required
• 7 to 10 years of overall work experience in  designing and implementing Large Scale Distributed Applications
• Experience in developing solutions using Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Flume, Lucene, SOLR
• Experience in use of No-SQL technologies such as MongoDB, Cassandra etc.
• Good understanding of issues such as scalability and availability
• Ability to profile, characterize, debug any performance issues at the platform level as well as at the application level
• Knowledge of profiling and fine tuning the database performance preferable
• Familiarity with various commercial and open source big data technologies  and ecosystem

The project requires building a solution for Application Log Analysis using the big data technologies
The work involves the following:
• Work with Client subject matters to define the data patterns to be analyzed
• Define the sample datasets to be used during the development
• Perform proof of concepts to evaluate different big data platform for suitability for the Log Analysis
• Participate in the development of the log analysis solution
• Support the solution through deployment and operations
• Participate  in the ongoing development roadmap
 
 
Strong work experience in more than one of the below technology areas is required.
Programming Languages Python, Ruby, Core Java, J2EE, JDBC, Spring, Struts, Scripting Languages
Distributed Systems Cloud Computing, Grid Computing, Cluster Computing
Big Data Technologies Hadoop, Hive, Pig, MongoDB, EMR, Splunk, SQLStream, Flume, Impala, Storm
