Job: 

Leading Healthcare company based in Louisville, KY is seeking a contractor to assist in high level Health Information Exchange (HIE) project.  

Position:   

This position will design, analyze, develop, and support interface solutions between internal and external client/vendor applications that extend across all business divisions at client.     

We are seeking a BizTalk Programmer Analyst to handle the support and development of HL-7 interfaces, and other integration as needed. This is a contracting opportunity with great potential for extensions.    

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  

•  Highest level of technical knowledge of advanced technologies in BizTalk  HL7 interface applications, development methodology, programming languages (including C#, .NET), databases (MS SQL), and operating systems related to the area.

• Has an extensive knowledge of the underlying interaction between the components in a development language and the interface solution.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and implement complex projects with minimal supervision.

• Team oriented.  

• Strong customer service skills.  

• Exceptional attention to detail/ability to multi-task.

• Commitment to deadlines and deliverables. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor of Computer Science, or equivalent engineering degree 

• 6+ years of experience developing HL7 interfaces in the BizTalk interface engine. 

• 3+ years of experience in the Healthcare IT industry. 

• HL7 certification recommended 

• Biztalk exposure recommended
