Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6+ Months contract
Start: ASAP
The Job Description is as follows:
· SAP BW consultant
· 8 Plus years of Experience is Mandatory.
· End to end BW upgrade experience
· Thorough knowledge about data sources, process chains, DTPs/info packages and other BW objects (like open hub, APDs, Cubes, DSOs, info sets etc.).
· Knowledge about upgrade packages is beneficial.
· Should be able to plan and handle all the following activities
· pre upgrade, prepare/actual upgrade, post upgrade and testing
· Pre-upgrade. Application checks/ cleansing and Upgrade Preparation. Technical checks and Upgrade preparation. Agree on result
· Post upgrade. Application Post checks and functional tests. Technical post Steps and Go-Live Preparation
· Testing.
a. Application testing
b. Technical testing
· Basic data base knowledge
· Basic ABAP knowledge is beneficial.
Skills & Abilities
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
