MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Additional related experience may substitute for degree on a year for year basis up to four years.
• Four (4) years' experience in Information Technology including implementation, configuration, support and maintenance of enterprise wide systems and applications
• Two (2) to Three (3) years' experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX, preferably for Procurement and Finance departments.
• Familiarity and/or experience with Dynamics installation and configuration; AX Workflow and AX data migration
• Hands-on knowledge of SharePoint concepts, practices, configuration and procedures within an enterprise environment, a plus.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent oral, written communication skills and analytical skills
• Ability to work well in a team and maintain an effective working relationship with employees, management, vendors, and contractors.
• Demonstrated dedication to customer services.
• Knowledge of standard project management methodologies and processes.
• Ability to manage several diverse projects and tasks simultaneously and meet established guidelines
• Ability to identify critical risk factors that may impact the project
Information Technology: Enterprise Application & Database Services Group
• Knowledge of information system life cycles, system analysis and data analysis.
• Excellent organization abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to be a catalyst and a willing participant of organization changes.
• Ability to handle duties and assigned tasks independently without close supervision.
• Ability to work in a matrixed organization, partnering well with colleagues and undertake department tasks to ensure supporting IT department's responsibility to Capital Metro's mission.
SECURITY SENSITIVE POSITION
This position is a "Security Sensitive" position. Capital Metro will conduct annual criminal background checks on incumbents in this position. A position is "Security Sensitive" if its incumbent handles currency, has access to sensitive computerized databases, has access to master keys, or works in an area of the Capital Metro that has been designated as a security-sensitive area.
