C# Hedge Fund Developer

 

Need candidates who are comfortable handing all aspects of development from requirements gathering through testing and deployment. This person should have strong problem solving and mathematical skills and an ability to take abstract requirements and turn them into valuable software.

 

Required Skills:
Interact w/ clients to understand day-to-day operations, processes and reporting req in the finance/hedge fund industry; design & develop system to automate business processes & produce reports. Work w/ .NET Framework, C#, WinForms, Silverlight, WPF, WCR, Remoting, SQL Server, T-SQL.

Any of these optional skills are highly preferred:
Knowledge of equity, commodity, currency, fixed income & credit products and derivatives
SQL Server Analysis Server, MDX, OLAP design
Silverlight, Developer Express, Infragistics, MVP/MVC, CAB/SCSF, Active Reports
Risk Management: stress testing, factor models, VaR, derivative Greeks
Surround, Perforce, Resharper, Cruise Control
