Position: SAS BI Programmer (Need SAS BI Consultants & not SAS programmers)
Location: Dayton, OH
6+ month contract
Phone Interviews // Minimum 7+ years of experience
Required Experience: (Healthcare exp is a plus but not mandatory)
• Codes using the Display Manager functionality, or EG
• Experience programming in SAS using BASE SAS functionality including macros, stored processes, data steps, etc.
• Understands how to utilize a source control system, specifically SVN
• Has worked in an environment where code has been promoted through environments by someone outside of them
• Is able to critically think through issues and tasks which need addressed
• Has had exposure to the SAS EBI suite, specifically the Information Delivery Portal
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain SAS Web Reports for sales data based on the requirement.
• Implement data management plans designed to meet project deadlines.
• Help create Microstrategy reports on Pharmacy data and member data, and demonstrate the high utilizers and drill down the data to member level.
• Perform data analysis for detection of Fraud claims and multiple enrollments of Plans.
• Update and maintain data warehouse (EDW) and generate various sales and marketing reports.
• Extensively use SAS Enterprise Guide for Ad hoc reporting.
• Write macros to organize data files to business specifications within standard office applications such as Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Set up and scheduling Stored Procedures in SAS BI server
• Validation of FACETS 5.1 and Care Advance upgrade.
• Resolve tickets by business, regards to self-service SAS portal reports.
• Work on automation for new KY Regulatory reports for KY Humana Medicaid data.
• Work on Care Advance reporting and have good understanding of data structure.
• Use SAS for pre-processing data, SQL queries, data analysis, generate reports, graphics and statistical analyses
