Location: Las vegas, NV
Requirement (1)
Role:- IBM Data Power Developer
• 8-10 years of overall experience with at least 3 years of IBM Data Power experience
• Experience in implementing complex interfaces using IBM Data Power as middleware
• Experience in implementing interfaces with both custom-built and enterprise products/applications as source and target
• Technical skill set required/preferred (Experience/Working knowledge in):
o IBM DataPower development (Certified professional is a plus)
o IBM DataPower administration in both Windows and Unix platforms experience will be a plus
o Web services technologies, standards and protocols (WSDL, SOAP/HTTP, REST, WS-Security etc)
o XML/XSD/XSLs and working experience in development tools like Eclipse, XMLSpy etc
o IBM WebSphere MQ
o Knowledge on IBM WebSphere Tools like below will be plus:
§ Transformation Extender (WTX)
§ Integration Developer (WID)
§ Enterprise Service Bus (WESB)
§ Service Registry and Repository (WSRR)
§ Business Monitor Server
• Exposure to delivery processes and execution models like Iterative, Agile, etc.
• Experience in responding to proposals and other customer-facing activities like status-update reporting, independently driving workshops with source, target system representatives
Requirement (2)
Role:- IBM Data Power Admin
• Candidate must be proficient and have the technical and related skills as indicated below with a minimum of five (5) years of experience.
• Candidate must have experience performing firmware upgrades of WebSphere DataPower XI52 and the related activities required:
o a. Participate in architectural planning sessions
o b. Preparation of planning and design documents
o c. Coordination of testing and rollout from development through production environments
• Candidate must be capable of troubleshooting as required as part of this engagement. Strong troubleshooting skills are required.
• In addition to upgrade activities candidate must be able to configure DataPower SOA appliances for XML and non-XML processing, secure implementations, integration of heterogeneous systems that include other WebSphere products as shown in the SOA reference architecture, enable monitoring and service-level management
• Candidate will be working closely with business analysts, application developers, system administrators, 3 party vendors, and application administrators and must be able to work well in a team environment and be able to deliver to the deadlines.
• Candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to effectively understand requirements/deliverables from the business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong Unix/Linux/Windows skills are also required
• Candidates having experience upgrading WebSphere DataPower appliances to version 6.x is desired
• Candidates having and understanding of overall WebSphere security concepts is desired
• Candidates with a good understanding clustering and failover techniques is desired
• Candidates with a good understanding of identity management software and protocols (LDAP, OAuth 1.X/2.0, SAML) is also desired
• Candidates should have a general understanding of networking technologies such as F5 GTM/3DNS, F5 LTM/Big-IP, Firewall, Proxy, and TCP/IP.
