Data Lead/Engineer position (SAP ABAP)
Omaha, NE
Experience: 7 to 9 years
Contract Length: 12 months.
Description:
• Design, develop, coordinate and support data migration solutions between SAP and non-SAP solutions.
• Perform / coordinate data migration activities between project team, legacy system teams and data owners.
• Coordinate development of data mapping specifications to migrate legacy data into SAP solution.
• Build routines to extract data from non-SAP legacy DB platforms.
• Perform / coordinate activities to build data load programs in SAP, unit test, trail cut-over and go-live tasks.
• Coordinate data cleansing activities between project team and data owners.
• Provide Level 2 and 3 support for data migration issues.
Build positive working relationships with business community and legacy system owners.
• Document all migration specifications and perform quality assurance reviews.
• Extensive knowledge in ABAP, LSMW, BDC, BAPI.
• Exposure to non-SAP relational database, such as Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access & DB2.
• At least 3 SAP implementation projects experience performing data migration and cut-over activities.
• Desired to have exposure to HCM business solution module in SAP.
