Position: Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator
Location: South Charleston, WV

Project Scope:
- Install, maintain, and support clustered Oracle Fusion Middleware applications including but not limited to Oracle WebLogic Server (11g), Oracle WebCenter (11g), Oracle SOA (11g), and Oracle Service Bus (11g).
- Troubleshoot and support Java development teams and carry out code package deployments to the environment.
- Delivery of services to cabinet level Federal agencies.
Responsibilities:
- The Administrator will be responsible for installation and configuration of Oracle Fusion Middleware applications including, but not limited to Oracle WebLogic Server (11g), Oracle WebCenter (11g), and Oracle Service Bus (11g). The Administrator will follow the guidelines from the administrators already onsite when applicable.
- The Administrator will be responsible for maintaining existing and future Oracle Fusion Middleware applications. This includes applying patches to fix bugs, adding new functionality and features, and installing of maintenance releases.
- The Administrator will be responsible for supporting Java development teams and carrying out code package deployments to the environment.
- The Administrator will be required to attend in person regularly scheduled team and planning meetings. Participation is required only as it relates to the task the administrator is working with.
- The Administrator will be required to provide requirement analysis and recommendations for future Oracle Fusion Middleware environments, which will include number of servers required for High Availability.
- The Administrator will be responsible for testing and verification of all existing and future Oracle Fusion Middleware environments. The Administrator will also be required to participate in testing with other technical staff and users when the need arises.
- The Administrator will be required to create and maintain technical documentation for the support of the Oracle Fusion Middleware environments using tools such as Microsoft Office.
- Progress shall be tracked by the Administrator and Team Lead. The Administrator shall be tasked with specific units of work in the form of ‘sprints’ found in the Agile methodology. The Administrator will have definitive tasks to record work against for completion within the ‘sprint’ timeframe (every two weeks). The Administrator will also determine their own work to perform in each ‘sprint’
Requirements
Candidate requires three years or more of experience with Oracle WebLogic Server (10g/11g) clustered environments, Oracle SOA (11g), Oracle WebCenter (11g), OSB (11g), and Linux / Unix environments.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Oracle database, Oracle Siebel, Oracle Hyperion, Oracle BI, Oracle Web Service Manager, Oracle WebLogic Scripting, Unix / Linux shell scripting, SOA / Web Services architectures, SSO environments, Load balanced / clustered environments, and experience with Amazon AWS.
