Job title: Data Stage Developer

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 6+ months

 

Project Scope:

• The DataStage Developer is responsible for successful development, testing and delivery of Data Integration applications using ETL tools such as Datastage or Informatica
• The DataStage Developer should be able to understand ETL design document and create ETL mapping and workflow
• He / She will be responsible for implementing business rules and data transformations from source to target
• Design complex database components and ETL applications, including integrating heterogeneous applications in a distributed computing environment
• Create technical design specifications and Assist with configuration of applications software
• Develop and maintain ETL jobs, Data Mart metadata, batch processes Ensuring solution and deliverable quality
• Anticipating, identifying and mitigating risks and managing resolution of implementation issues
• Communicating project risks, issues, timelines, solutions, and status to Project Lead/Manager

Skills required:

 

• 4+ years of experience on Oracle 10/11G OR Sql Server 2005/2008
• 4+ Years of experience in ETL, data warehouse and related technologies
• 4+ years hands on experience on DataStage 8.1/9.1 or informatica
• Good experience in writing PL/Sql, Stored procedure
• Excellent knowledge on Dimensional modeling and should have at least 2 years of experience on designing and developing dimensional modeling
• Excellent communication skill
