Job Description:
· Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Manufacturing - B.E / B.Tech / B.S / M.E / M. Tech / M.S
· 3+ years’ experience in Medical product design environment
· 5+ years’ experience in mechanical product development and engineering with an emphasis on mechanical system design including the areas of machine design, precision mechanism design and development of drive systems.
· Experience with precision drive mechanisms, sensor technologies, heat transfer, electronics packaging and molded/casted part design is highly desirable.
· Ability to apply engineering principles and theory to develop safe, innovative and robust medical products.
· Core knowledge of formal DFMA and FMEA principles.
· Core knowledge of structural design and analysis.
· Proficiency with leading MCAD software (NX/Unigraphics) tools is a must.
· Understanding and proven practical application of ASME Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerance and drawing standards.
· Experience with performing tolerance analysis of complex mechanical systems.
