Position: Java/J2ee GemFire Architect/Administrator/Engineer
Duration: 8 months
Location: Washington, D.C.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Architecture and support with the customer GemFire environment Knowledge transfer regarding the capabilities, usage and best practices of GemFire, Java / Spring Examples and prototypes deployed to a development and/or test environment, which reflect technologies and features recommended to customer, as part of this Statement of Work.
• Assist with driving the resolution of all Pivotal related technical issues, escalating as appropriate Direct support of application, run time or monitoring solutions using GemFire products Validation, extensibility, scalability, and reliability of the GemFire solution Defining integration patterns, data design, monitoring design principles Working with customer developers in understanding the architecture and creating low-level design documents Providing mentoring for the customer staff involved in GemFire and related products Installing and configuring the Pivotal products as needed Assist the Customer with unit testing and systems integration testing Deployment of the GemFire solution into production Providing assistance and maintenance, as directed by customer Facilitating bug review and appropriate corrections as part of the Statement of Work, customer will also require the Consultants to provide knowledge transfer on the following:
• GemFire best practices
• Development best practices as related to Pivotal products
• Operations Best practices for GemFire
• Support and Testing Best practices.
