Role: Test Lead

Location: Buffalo, NY

Duration: 12+ months

 

Responsibilities::

 

·         Experience with QTP is a must. Knowledge of Visual Basic and SQL is required.

·         Good experience in creating Automation Framework. Responsible for creating scripts to compare and validate data results from testing.

·         Responsible for setting up data, tools, databases to support integrated test environments.

·         Responsible for converting manual test plans to automated test scripts. Create and execute release and upgrade automation test plans.

·         Troubleshoot defects and manage defect tracking and resolution processes so that a consistent, documented process is used and followed.

·         Maintain well organized records of test results and historical analysis of test results.

·         Become and remain proficient in all programs necessary to perform the everyday duties of this position.

 

Experience

 

·         At least 5 years of experience designing and developing automated test scenarios. Exposure to software release/bulid process/SDLC required.

·         Experience testing web and reporting services applications

·         Experience in software testing for Banking/Financial software is preferred.
