Urgent VB.NET Developer need in Indianapolis, IN, 6+ Months, Rate: $45/hr Max

Responsibilities

Description of Duties:

Able to develop and maintain code in ASP.Net, VB.Net  for .NET 3.5 and later versions of framework for web applications.  - 50% of Total Work Effort

Proficient with Visual Studio 2008/2012, SQL Server Management Studio 2005/2012  - 30% of Total Work Effort

Strong knowledge in writing queries, writing/understanding complex stored procedures, cursors, triggers and functions  - 10% of Total Work Effort

Strong knowledge on Object oriented programming, XML, and ADO.Net.  - 10% of Total Work Effort

 

Operating Systems:

Windows 7 - Beginner - 1 Year of Experience - REQUIRED - Needs to know how to navigate the Windows 7 OS at a basic user level.

 

Programming Language/Development Tools:

VB.NET - Advanced - 5 Years of Experience - REQUIRED - Needs to be able to troubleshoot code and create custom web applications in VB.NET.

MS Visual Studio 2008 - Intermediate - 3 Years of Experience - REQUIRED - Needs to be able to configure development environment and build existing projects in MS Visual Studio 2008.

 

Database Systems/Database Tools:

MS SQL 2005 - Intermediate - 3 Years of Experience - Needs to be able to write complex queries and stored procedures.  Proficient at using SSMS and SSIS interfaces for a MS SQL 2005 DB. 

 

Frameworks/SLDs/Methodologies:

MS Excel - Beginner - 1 Year of Experience - REQUIRED - Needs to be able to use basic MS Excel cell formatting and cell functions.
